At the start of the summer holidays we took a group of young people to Surrey Care Trust’s Gateway Community Garden in Reigate as part of our Making Good project.

Making Good is our social action project which provides an opportunity for young people to give back to their community. They really enjoyed contributing to a community space and helped to create a new path, build compost bins, maintain the plants and harvest vegetables.

A huge thank you to the team at Gateway Community Garden who were so welcoming and supportive. A few of the young people said how pleased they were with what they achieved and how much they enjoyed being outdoors.

We rewarded all their hard work with a trip to Guildford Spectrum for bowling and swimming.
