During the May half term, we took a group of young people to Elysian in Horsley as part of our Making Good project. Elysian provides therapeutic education and supportive services for children, young people and families. They have five sites across Surrey and Hampshire, including three registered SEN independent schools.

Making Good is a social action project, giving young people the opportunity to give back to their local community. On our two days at Elysian, the young people helped feed the animals, weed a field that contained plants that are poisonous to horses and create raised beds for vegetables to be planted.

As a reward for all their hard work, we took the young people to Blue Spider in Guildford to go rock climbing.
