During the February half term we took a group of young people to Nower Wood with Surrey Wildlife Trust for our Making Good project.

The activities over the two days included:
– Chopping down trees to give more light to the woodland floor to help bluebells grow
– Pond dipping to discover more about the local wildlife
– Putting together some small mammal traps
– Building underground sheltered chambers to protect amphibians, reptiles and insects from freezing winter temperatures
– Making a campfire and roasting marshmallows

To reward their hard work, the young people got to enjoy a trip to Mulligans in Guildford for crazy golf and darts.
